Everlasting Gospel - 2

a man who fell among thieves

Luke10:30~34  Then Jesus answered and said: "A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, who stripped him of his clothing, wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead.
Now by chance a certain priest came down that road. And when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.
Likewise a Levite, when he arrived at the place, came and looked, and passed by on the other side.
But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was. And when he saw him, he had compassion.
So he went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine; and he set him on his own animal, brought him to an inn, and took care of him. (NKJ)

Jesus said "You shall love your neighbor as yourself." and a certain lawyer asks "Who is my neighbor?"

Jesus answered that "A man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, who stripped him of his clothing, wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead."
A priest and a Levite came down the road, and when they saw him, they passed by on the other side.
But a Samaritan
came where he was, and when he saw him, he had compassion.
So he went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine; and he set him on his own animal, brought him to an inn, and took care of him.

Specifically, the person who met the robber was wrong at the destination.
This man headed for desolate Jericho where Joshua destroyed, from holy Jerusalem.
He went the wrong way, so he met a robber in the middle, took everything away, and received a threat of life.
As such, if we go wrong in the path of life, we can lose everything to Satan and the devil and lose life.

The mann who met robbers was in a difficult situation, but the priest and the Levite who passed the road, turned away.
Of course, the priest or the Levite have a law that they should not touch the dead body when they are sacrificed, but if they look away from the person who has not died yet, they do not want to sacrifice.

Because people are selfish in nature, like in glory, but dislike sacrificing for others.
But the Samaritan, who is despised by the same Jews, sees him and treats him poorly, and even carries him in the inn.
The good Samaritan from here is not just strangers, but symbols of Jesus, who was despised by the Jews at the time.

Jesus is the one who shows up when we are in a difficult situation and no one is helping us, and warmly protects and treats us.
The Samaritan's treatment of the wounds with oil and wine means that he gave Holy Spirit symbolize oil and Blood of Cross symbolize wine.

In the end, the conclusion of this story is to practice sacrificial love without any conditions like Jesus.
Jesus, who came as the king of the Jews, came to this land, comforted the poor and the sinners, and treated the sick.
The sacrificial love of Jesus can not be done in the state of the body, and can be done only by being born again as the Holy Spirit.

Luke10:35 "On the next day, when he departed, he took out two denarii, gave them to the innkeeper, and said to him, 'Take care of him; and whatever more you spend, when I come again, I will repay you.'

However, the Samaritan does not end up taking the person to the inn, but asks the owner of the inn to take care of him giving the two denari.
And even if it costs more, he will pay it back on the way back.
This is not only a temporary healing, but also a return to complete healing.

If so, the person who met the robber can eventually be seen as a symbol of the Jews.
Throughout the Old Testament, Jews who were judged by idolatry and various sins without serving God properly were almost like a man who met robber.
He(Jewish) was almost dead, and he was unconscious even during the treatment of the Samaritan(Jesus), and will recognize and thank Samaritan when he return.

Zech.12:10 "And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn.

In this way, 2000 years ago, Jews were in their own depravity and Roman colonial rule, and they did not know and killed Jesus, the Savior.
However, they will open their spiritual eyes at the end of the world and admit that Jesus is Messiah and repent and receive complete healing.

2Pet.3:8 But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

The last question to solve is why the Samaritan promised to come back giving two denari.
It can be inferred that this is the period that takes until Jesus comes back.
The Lord said that one day is as a thousand years, so the two denarii can be seen as symbolizing two thousand years.

Matt.24:34 "Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place.

Jesus said that this generation will by no means pass away till 'all these things'(syptoms of end of the world) take place.
Generation means about 30 years, which corresponds to the age difference between parents and children.
But Jesus is different because he saw it from God's point of view, not from human position.

A generation from God's point of view is a time when the plan of salvation changes.
From Adam through Noah to Abraham, the Age of Creation and Conscience was for 2000 years, from Abraham through Moses to Jesus, the Age of the Chief and the Law was for 2000 years, from the First coming of Jesus to the Second coming of Jesus, the Age of New Testament for 2000 years.

In this way, 6000 years is the period when God works to save mankind completely, and the rest of the last millennium kingdom is added to 7000 years, and all the salvation ministry of mankind is completed.
Then the two denarii mean two millennia, and Jesus must come back around 2000 AD.
But in 2000 AD, when we waited, Jesus did not come back, and many people were disappointed or reliefed.

Matt.25:4~5 "but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
"But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept.

The answer is found in Matthew 25, The 10 virgins analogy, and the brides waiting for the groom are all slumbered and slept because groom was delayed.
The delay of the groom is mean that Jesus came later than scheduled.
So everyone get relaxed and slumbered and slept.

Luke21:34~36 "But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly.
"For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth.
"Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man."

1Thess.5:4~6 But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief.
You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness.
Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober.

Jesus said that the day would be a trap on everyone living on the whole earth, so do not carouse or worry, but wake up and pray all the time.
Paul, the apostle, says that if you do not want to let the day come to you like a thief, do not belong to darkness, do not sleep spiritually, but stay awake.

2Pet.3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

Jesus' promise to come is not late, but only that the Lord endures for us and tries to bring all repentance without destroying anyone.
So Jesus had to come around 2000 AD, but he came a little later than planned to save more people, and that saints should wake up and pray and be nervous, not spiritually dozed or asleep.

Wise Servant and Evil servant

Matt.24:45~47 "Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season.
"Blessed is that servant whom his master, when he comes, will find so doing.
"Assuredly, I say to you that he will make him ruler over all his goods.

Luke12:42~44 And the Lord said, "Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his master will make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of food in due season?
"Blessed is that servant whom his master will find so doing when he comes.
"Truly, I say to you that he will make him ruler over all that he has.

The Gospel of Matthew and Luke have a faithful and wise servant to give people food(words) in due season (the end of the world).
Jesus will come and see what wise servant doing, and Jesus will make the servant ruler over all that he has.

The wise servant is a minister who will spread the everlasting gospel to the world at the end of the world, and lead people to full salvation, and prepare for Jesus's second coming.
The Bible is predicted to have a revival centered on truth at the end of the world.

Matt.24:48~51 "But if that evil servant says in his heart, 'My master is delaying his coming,'
"and begins to beat his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunkards,
"the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him and at an hour that he is not aware of,
"and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

But if that evil servant says in his heart, 'My master is delaying his coming,' and begins to beat his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunkards, the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him and will cut him and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Luke12:45~48 But if that servant says in his heart, 'My master is delaying his coming,' and begins to beat the male and female servants, and to eat and drink and be drunk,
the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the unbelievers.
And that servant who knew his master's will, and did not prepare himself or do according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.
But he who did not know, yet committed things deserving of stripes, shall be beaten with few. For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more

Servant who knew his master's will, and did not prepare himself or do according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.
But he who did not know, yet committed things deserving of stripes, shall be beaten with few. For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more.

The way out of the SIn that leads me to death

We have been living in the world for decades and have been affected by numerous sins.
In the meantime, cruel, obscene, hedonic, and materialistic scenes in TV, internet, advertisement, movie and game that I have seen inadvertently have remained in my memory and have influenced me.
The wounds, hates, and resentments of the hearts we have experienced in our family life, school life, and work life remain in our subconscious mind.
The strong instincts of my body are beyond my control, wriggling, catching me and obsessing about something.
The Satan and demons frustrate me with various negative thoughts and emotions, make me nervous, cause hatred, quarrels and doubts.

All of these things form sin in me, and it is sins that it is habitualized and expressed in words and actions.
All humans are evil, obscene, cruel, violent, selfish, greedy, rebellious, and hedonic sins, and they are confronted by conscience, reason and conflict to control them.
However, as time goes by, the desire to sin grows, so it goes beyond the control area, and they commits a vicious crimes that shock society.
The recent act of beating others or burning other's cars without reason is also a manifestation of this sin and the general public freely emits their sin in a cyber world where there is relatively less scruples and social responsibility.

When you get drunk, your control over the sin is lost, so the sin is easily revealed, and the desire that you have hidden is revealed and you feel pleasure.
Because when human desires are resolved, dopamine is secreted from the brain, making it feel pleasure and having a system that provides appropriate compensation.
Dopamine is secreted even when you have a desire to eat food, and if you do not get out of these eating pleasures, you will suffer from obesity and various adult diseases.

But if you do not govern or extinguish these evil desires, you will only come to struggle, debauchery, depravity, disease, mental illness, evil spirits subjection, crime and punishment.
The person whose sin is headed outside is often harassed others by words or actions, and when the sin is headed inside, they will abuse myself, become depressed, or commit suicide.
If you can not escape from the sin, you will continue to commit sins, eventually being judged after death and suffering eternally in hell, so getting out of the sin is the most important thing in life.

My sins cannot be healed in a worldly way, and can only be healed by Jesus' blood and the power of the Holy Spirit.
My old man hates to get out of sin, so I need a firm decision to get out of sin first.
Since the evil spirits persistently interfere with get out of sin, they must be constantly driven out by Jesus' name and cross blood.
We must continue to pray and praise for the Holy Spirit, to destroy my sin, to heal my heart.

It took the Israelites 40 years to escape from Egypt and get out of the sin in the wilderness.
In this way, even if you are free from the world and rely on God and devote yourself to your religious life, it takes a lot of time and effort to escape from sin.
I believe that if we grow steadily with patience and restraint under the grace of God, we will grow up to the stage where we are fully reborn, the sin is destroyed, and we own the spirit of Christ and we will not sin at any test and temptation.
