Right Behavior

Ps.81:12~13 So I gave them up unto their own hearts' lust: [and] they walked in their own counsels. Oh that my people had hearkened unto me, [and] Israel had walked in my ways!

When my spirit revive and the Holy Spirit is together, I have to do God's work.
The reason we are forgiven is to be born again, and the reason we should be born again is to live righteously as God wants.
Before I was born again, the instinct of the body and the subject of Satan were me, but after I was born again, the truth and impression of the Holy Spirit were me.
In other words, it is the old man to live according to the instinct of the body and the subject of Satan, and it is the new man to live according to the truth and the impression of Holy Spirit.

Matt.7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Luke6:46 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?

Jesus said that Not everyone who call Jesus as Lord shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he that does God's will.
This has two meanings: one is not only ideological belief, but also behavior is needed.
the other is that I should do not my will but God's will.
To do what God wants, we have to be born again first and live according to the truth and the impression of Holy Spirit

Matt.12:50 For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.

John4:34 Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.

Jesus
said that Jesus' blood is not his family but those who does the will of God heaven is his family
In the New Testament era, the flesh lineage is not important, and the spiritual lineage that comes from faith and doing is important.
Jesus said that the food Jesus eats is to do the will of his father and complete his work.

Mark8:34~36 And when he had called the people [unto him] with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.

Luke14:27 And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.

Gal.6:14 But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.

Jesus told that anyone to follow Jesus, should deny himself first and follow Jesus, bearing his cross.
To deny yourself is to deny your existence and to regard yourself as a dead person in this world.
"What do you mean, Jesus took cross on our behalf, but I should take my cross?"
The cross symbolizes "difficulty" and "sacrifice" and "death of sin(desire, old man, world, Satan).

Rom.8:17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with [him], that we may be also glorified together.

Acts14:22 Confirming the souls of the disciples, [and] exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.

2Tim.3:12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

1Pet.2:21~23 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed [himself] to him that judgeth righteously:

The saved saint is the child of God and heir of heaven, but to be honored with Jesus, you must suffer with him.
To bear your cross is to suppress the body to achieve God's will, and to take any tribulation, sacrifice and persecution.
In the end, I have to follow the righteous narrow way that Jesus went to.
Peter, James, Paul, and most of Jesus' disciples were martyred with persecution.

Matt.10:37~39 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.

Luke14:26 If any [man] come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren,

Luke14:33 So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.

Luke14:11 For whosoever exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

Luke9:24 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.

Those who love their family or themselves more than Jesus can not be Jesus' disciples, and eventually they abandon the right faith.
No one who relies more on his own than Jesus can be a disciple of Jesus, and eventually he becomes corrupt.
This is a spiritual principle, that if you want to rise up, possess, profit, and live in this world, you will die in the heavens, if you want to be lowered, abandon everything, sacrifice for God's will, and die in this world. you will live forever in the heavens.

Phil.1:27 Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;

1Cor.15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

To achieve God's will, Christians must go forward with any suffering and sacrifice.
In this world where materialism is widespread, selfishness and greed are full, there are things God wants to do.

* Right behavior is doing following 3 things.

1. The biggest thing is to preach the word of God. (Mission)

John21:16 He saith to him again the second time, Simon, [son] of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep.

After
Jesus resurrects, he asks Peter, "Do you love me?"
And Peter answers that "Yes, you know it.".
Thhen Jesus said, "Feed my sheep."
"Feed my sheep." means telling the people the word of God and raising them spiritually.
The preaching of the gospel that gives eternal life to those who are forced to die and saves them from the punishment of hell is the most important thing Jesus wants.

Matt.18:8 Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast [them] from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire.

Jesus told us that if your hands or feet make a crime, it would be better to cut them off and go to heaven as a cripple than go to hell that burns forever.
Hell is so hot and painful place, and you can not die of suicide, and you have to suffer forever in dark and dirty places.
How valuable is it to preach the gospel to save the poor soul from that terrible hellfire!

Mark8:38 Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.

1Cor.9:16 For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!

2Tim.4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

To save someone, you must be wise.
It is a good idea to treat him with love first and listen to his thoughts and worries.
It is recommanded that they shall realize of futility of life, and Jesus' love.
When you preach the word, you must rely on prayer, and the Holy Spirit of the truth will be accompanied by impression.

2. We must serve the poor neighbors. (Service)

Matt.25:44~46 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did [it] not to one of the least of these, ye did [it] not to me. And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

Jesus say that after second comming, Jesus will punish the person who did not help the hungry or thirsty, the traveler, the naked, the sick, and the imprisoned.
Because the body of everyone is the limb of Jesus, not helping the poor is like not helping Jesus.
Because we are so busy, it is easy to ignore our poor neighbors.

Heb.13:16 But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

James1:27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, [and] to keep himself unspotted from the world.

But we often see the eople on TV who are in a difficult situation and help poor neighbors.
The disadvantaged neighbors who can not live by their own power need help, but even if Jesus wants to help, he could not help because he works through people.

John5:29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

Rom.12:8 Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, [let him do it] with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.

It is the duty of the saints who have been saved by grace to help people who are economically difficult, alienated, and uncomfortable.
When the church refrains from building new church and strives for sanctification and service, it can become the light and salt of the world.

3. We must serve and love each other in the church; (fellowship)

John13:14~15 If I then, [your] Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet. For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.

1Pet.4:10 As every man hath received the gift, [even so] minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.

Jesus washed his disciples' feet at the last dinner, and the leader in the church set an example of serving the saints rather than being raised.
But while the church members fought each other in factions, and the leader was trying to be elevated, the church became increasingly materialized and degenerated globally.

Mark12:31 And the second [is] like, [namely] this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

1John3:14 We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not [his] brother abideth in death.

1Pet.1:22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, [see that ye] love one another with a pure heart fervently:

Luke6:37  Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:

Jesus told me to love your neighbor as yourself, and this is the greatest commandment.
John the Apostle said that we passed from death to life because we love brother.
The born-again Christian does not seek his glory, serves and loves each other.
Do not criticize or condemn your opponent's mistakes, understand and forgive generously.
